OUR STORY
The Gold Spot Shopping Center, with it's distinguishable golden brick walls, was built in 1925, located at the corner of Roosevelt and 3rd Ave. The building, one of the first shopping centers in the valley, included a Rexall drugstore and Otis Kenilworth’s barber shop. In the 1980s the building was abandoned and considered for demolition. In 2002, the 12,500 sq ft property was completely remodeled and now serves as a Marketing Center, housing 5 unique small businesses. The Gold Spot maintained its iconic golden appearance and is located in the nationally recognized Roosevelt Row. The Roosevelt Historic District was listed in the National Register of Historic Places as of November 30, 1983.

Downtown Phoenix, the hub for cultural and economic development in Arizona, and Roosevelt Row continues its dramatically transformation showcasing historic character, revitalization, and resurgence into future decades.
